Checkout these South California Communities
Glendora – Very cute downtown area with cone shape trees line the street. Soft music plays throughout the downtown area, while you shop, eat or have coffee with your friends. The city has it’s own police force, helpful and police explorers programs.
–Glendora Building permits
Norco– Great place for horse lovers. Part of this small town has a western and relaxing feel where you can ride your horse to the store, CVS Pharmacy, tie the horse up and ride back to your home and stables. Yes, it’s real and in Southern California! It’s also amazingly still affordable for southern California communities.
Walnut– A city that is know for great public schools in the area near Cal Poly and Mt. Sac College. This community has several parks and tree line streets where some of the houses are back off the streets. I enjoy driving around in this area, finding the unique area with hills. Easy access to two or three major freeways. This area is a bit pricy compared to the near by cities and it may take you a while to find the house you love available to buy or similar.
San Dimas city has a western theme to it.
-Via Verda Some parts of the hills can over look Cal Poly.
Sierra Madre is another unique and cute area. The downtown area is fun to visit, near Pasadena without the big city feel. Lots of wild life, starts at the foothill of the mountains. Living in Sierra Madre, you may have deer in your backyard, black bear or other wild life. The community has an older easy going feel to it, yet there is lots of activities seen with bicycle riders and mix generation with young families.
